Dear Inner Wheel friends,

There is lots to do, and the more we do, the more we get. With all my heart, I wish to thank you all for the opportunity you have given by appointing me to the highest office of the Inner Wheel District 308. It is an honor for me to give my contribution by serving such a great association to the best of my abilities. I feel greatly honored & privileged to be entrusted with the responsibility of District Chairman of District 308 & 1 extend my heartfelt wishes to all my friends. Being the District Chairman is like being a captain of a ship who sails through water, but not without the support of a capable crew. I am sure, that with the combined efforts of District Executive, Past District Chairmen and all the Club members I can sail through the ocean of responsibilities and achieve my goals towards the society. This prestigious platform with its great tradition of friendship, service & humanity has always strived hard to bring out the best positive change in the society. We are starting the New Year with new vigour, new ideas and new outlook. A new Inner Wheel year is unfolding and we are beginning the journey together. Let us be motivated and innovative to lubricate the wheel of service. The coming year will be the one of dreams and hopes, to strive, to achieve & to build something new and magnificent.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” The International Inner Wheel President 2019-20 Phyllis Charter has unveiled her theme for the year which is “Together we can” What a beautiful and meaningful theme. If everyone is moving forward together, then success can take care of itself. Many ideas grow better when transplanted into another mind than the one where they sprang up. The difference between success and failure is a great team…. A successful leader is one who can spur his or her team members to work together towards a common vision and mission. As an individual, one has the strength and expertise in one unique field. When we synergize our strengths in various fields, huge energy is generated which enables us to achieve infinite results. Friends, let us dedicate ourselves in bringing smiles on the faces of girl children, orphans, children with special abilities and senior citizens fighting against violence. And let’s work towards preventing female feticide, saving the environment, abolishing plastic, facilitating health care, adopting villages, & motivating people to adopt a child. We have to modernize our functioning and connect ourselves with larger group of Inner Wheel friends thus enhancing the membership as well as the image of Inner Wheel. I congratulate the club officers of 2018-19 for the excellent work which they have put in with sincerity and dedication and I am sure this year too they will put even greater efforts in assisting the incoming club officers in all meaningful projects to serve the community at large. I wish the incoming team of club officers all the best as they take over their responsibilities. I am confident that we will work together and put in our concerted efforts to excel in all that we do and reach greater heights in service to the community. Remember-“None of us is as smart as all of us”
With warm wishes,
Seema AG
